The Yonex Cascade Drive 2, the 2nd generation of the Cascade Drive series badminton shoes, is a revamped and redesigned for comfort, performance, and durability. Using the new Inner Bootie design, the shoes cradles the foot for improved comfort and all-around fit. Radial Blade Sole replaces the old hexagrip sole design for more stability and traction during directional changes. The shoes are equipped with flexible outer Durable Skin that is flexible, improves shape retention, and provides ventilation to reduce heat buildup.

For comfort, the Yonex Cascade Drive badminton shoes implement Power Cushion design to absorbs shock then reverses the impact energy for smooth transfer into the next movement.

  • Power Cushion - By adding a special elastic resin to POWER CUSHION, while maintaining the conventional lightweight properties, high shock absorption is realized. Grooves designed in a lattice pattern, with optimum spacing and depth, achieve further resilience.
  • Toe Assist Shape - A toe-centric design that cuts down on pressure in the big toe, as well as offering improved support at the mid-foot and heel for a stable fit. Power loss is reduced, allowing for swift footwork.
  • Memory Form Insole - Provides cushioning and comfortable fit.
  • Round Sole - The Yonex Round Sole is designed to provide all-around support for quick and smooth footwork. The Round Sole integrated into the forefoot and heel of the shoe to minimize power loss, ensuring smooth movements the transfer of maximum energy to successive movements.
  • Hexagrip - Special designed sole for agile and stable footwork. The Hexagrip patter is made from newly-developed material that provides 3% more gripping power and is 20% lighter than an ordinary material.
