The Mavis 2000 line of nylon shuttlecock is  an improvement over its best selling shuttlecock, Mavis 500. With the new ribs on its skirt design, the Yonex Mavis 2000 Nylon Shuttlecock offers better spin in its flight and trajectory and little better durability. It has the closest performance to feather shuttlecock beating the Mavis 500 in flight and feel.

Very good plastic shuttle, so far August 13, 2016

Just got these on sale for under $10 for a 6 pack, only played a couple of times with them so far at intermediate level. The birds seem heavier than the others I was using, but not in a bad way. They fly nicely and seem harder to overhit (i.e. sending too long and out).

No question... If you are considering nylon shuttles, get the M2000s.  The flight pattern is more like feather (but can never be just like feather).  The skirt does not fray as easily as the 300/350.  Also, there is much less "wiggle" in the shuttle after being struck and the 2000 begins spinning more quickly for more stable flight.
