I bought a Wilson XLoop XFire from Badminton Alley. I have used this racket for 3 years, it is one of the best racket among 3 rackets that I have.

5 of 5 Thank you for the advice August 11, 2011

I bought this racket after reading the reviews and talking to one of the customer service at Badminton Alley. Taking on the reviews and after getting confirmation on couple of questions on the racket, I ordered it. Took only 2 days for the racket to arrive to my house. What a super fast service. Anyway, tried it for about 2 months and LOVE IT. It is an excellent performance racket.

5 of 5 Nice Racket - 2/2 August 1, 2011

[Review has to be less then 1000 characters. And one can review once only. I ended up create one more account to do it :) ]
My original intention is to use this for double due to its faster swing. And those two for single due to its power. But now, I normally just use this one for any game and don't bother those two. I am not say those two are not good. They are terrific rackets used by legend players. But you can see, this one can be very good alternative.
I bought one when it was on sale. Then I waited another six months to buy one more when it was on sale again.

One thing is important to remember. The string comes with the racket is very fragile. For both XFire I have, the string broke either the first time I played it or the second. I tried BG66, which also broke the first time I played. I once even suspect the racket has defect. I finally ended up to string it with BGN95 at 25lb. Now it seems pretty good.

5 of 5 Nice Racket - 1/2 August 1, 2011

Now my bag always carry 3 rackets:
- Armortec 700 1st Generation
- Armortec 900 Power
- XLoop XFire 2 SE
Those two Armortec are slightly more head heavy and the hit is slightly more crispy. But XFire is noticeably easier to swing. The faster swing brings more power which compensate the advantage brought in by the heavier head of those Armortec. As a result, the power of this racket is no less than those two.
Besides power, another major concern for any racket is the head might twist slightly if you didn't hit the shuttle within sweetspot. Good news is, like those Amortec, XFire doesn't have this problem. It fault tolerance is quite good.

4 of 5 got the 1st xfire generation May 4, 2011
Reviewer: Jimmy Wong from San Jose, CA United States
Got the 1st xfire generation, didn't have a chance to use this one. But both have the same stats!
it's a pretty good racquet for the price, it's relatively light and would fit for people who don't have a strong twirst.
the price is very good when it's on sales, but for the original price, I believe some other Wilson racquets have better value for the price.

5 of 5 Very good performance racket July 25, 2010
Reviewer: Praveen K from Sacramento, CA United States
Bought this when it was on sale for $80 to replace my Armortec 300 couple weeks ago. Now it is $140?!?! Wow... lucky me.

I really enjoyed playing with this racket. The Xfire 2 SE help me generate really good punch on my smash and clear. I also love the design of the racket. Will purchase another one when it is on sale again.... hope it is soon. I need a backup racket.

5 of 5 Nice offensive racket with excellent balance May 27, 2010
Reviewer: Michael Nguyen from San Jose, CA United States
This racket just fits me. Feels very comfortable on hand and through all my swings. I get good explosive power and good defense. The feel is similar to my old Yonex Armortec 700 (1st generation). It was supposed to be my backup racket but it is now my main racket.

I have used this racket for about 5 months. I notice that my game has improve in power and speed. I played better with this racket compared to my Armortec 900 Technique. I played mostly doubles game and play in B/C in open tournaments.

Overall, excellent performance and very good price if I may say so.
