4 of 5 Excellent racket but does not include full cover May 21, 2014
Reviewer: George Stevenson from New York, NY United States
The racket is excellent. I get powerful smashes and clears from this racket. It is really solid.

The price is superb compared to others, the lowest so far for carbon graphite.

The string is pretty good but not too durable. I had to change it after approximately 32 hours of play (around 8-10 times). After I installed NBG-99, the sound and speed from this racket is just incredible.

Lastly, my only grudge which is why it did not get full 5 stars is the head cover. For such a nice racket, it should have come with full cover. Most Carlton carbon graphite rackets come with full cover. I know it is cheap already but Carlton should just put up $1 or $2 to give full cover to its customers and this racket would have been PERFECT!

PS: Would like to thank Badminton Alley for the their super fast service. Receive my racket within 3 days. Keep up the excellent customer service and selections.

5 of 5 Good Beginner/Intermediate racket May 19, 2014
Reviewer: Brett R. from Boston, MA
Update 05/19/2014:
The racket has so far exceeded my expectation. Solid feel with excellent power, especially after I restrung it with BG-80 @ 23 lbs. It is incredibly durable breaking my friends Yonex rackets while only leaving some chip marks. Not bad. No complain at all. Just lots of smiles, especially after the clashes which my racket came out the winner.... so far.... I called my racket the Yonex killer.

1st Review 12/14/2013:
For the price, the Carlton Ignite Flare is much better than the other rackets in the same range. It has better string that gives power and it is strung pretty tight, around 22-23 lbs told by Badminton Alley.

Very good racket and very good price.

4 of 5 the original string breaks the first time I use it March 24, 2014
Reviewer: weiguo tang from sunnyvale, CA United States
In general the quality is good for this price. But it feels heavy and the hitting does not feel very crisp maybe due to the low quality string that comes with it.

Worst of all, the original string broke the first time I use it.  I used it for barely 30min before it broke.  I never expect the original string to be super good. But it still surprised me for such a short life.

I thought about get upgrade to better ones, such as BG65, but considered it a waste to just get rid of the original one.  I think I should have replaced it in the first place.

5 of 5 Excellent racket April 26, 2013
Reviewer: Timothy Wong from Fremont, CA
This is an excellent low cost racket. The racket is light weight and the string is tight and powerful. This is by far much better than any of Yonex racket that are below $100. A good bargain racket for performance racket.
