Description Technical Specs

DuraSmash is a new brand that is entering the shuttlecock business. The DuraSmash Professional DS-40 is a select goose feather shuttlecock that offers a combination of durability, flight, and consistency. It is targeted to compete with Yonex Aerosensa 20 (AS20) and Aerosensa 30 (AS30).

Recommendation:
To prolong the durability of the shuttlecocks, we highly recommend that all shuttlecocks be humidified 24-48 hours before usage. This will help increase the life/durability of the shuttlecock by up to 70%.

5 of 5 Good Performance for the Price September 8, 2019
Reviewer: Badminton Alley Staff from Sunnyvale, CA
If you are looking for a decent flight and durable goose feather shuttlecock for an economical price, the DuraSmash 40 (DS-40) is an excellent choice. The shuttlecock performed well and comparable to Yonex Aerosensa 10 (AS-10) and 20 (AS-20). We tested for clear and drop drills for a continues 10 minutes, the shuttlecock held up pretty well. Afterward, we tested them with more intense double drills that involved hard smashes, defensive clears, and lots of drives; we had to change 3 times for this 35 minutes drill. Overall, the DS-40 performed better than the AS-10 and AS-20 in durability. However, the AS-20 has a more solid feel upon impact compared to the DS-40 or AS-10. However, for practice or regular play and excellent economical pricing, the DS-40 is an excellent bargain for club and recreational players.
