BG-85 - BG-80 on steroids! |

SOTX Woven-7 - 26.5 x 29.5 lbs.
Basically the same as BG-80 but 0.01mm thinner, BG-85 is, somehow:
Noticeably more powerful; Noticeably louder; Noticeably better with control.
The feel is comparable to BG-80, but it definitely doesn't last as long.
It's definitely not a tournament string, as previous reviews have commented on the lack of durability, but if you're a reasonably good club player (with ready access to a stringer) this shouldn't be a problem.
It's a toss-up between this, BG-66 (excellent power but pops in no time) and Nanogy 98 (RIDICULOUS power but very expensive) for the best all-round string.
9/10 from me!

Bg-85 |

ive used this string once but ive noticed that it is very strong. strong as in faster smashes and easier net play. i find that it loses tension very fast though, the first time i used it it lost about 1 - 3 pounds in tension, but after that it would pretty much stay down at that 1 - 3 pounds lower than your original tension you gave it. this string has a very very nice and loud bang when u hit the shuttle cock properly or hard enough. usually the sound comes when you are smashing or making a full court clear. i find this string very useful for those who want to play with tecnique and want to tire the apponent out or to defencive players, BUT i do not recomend to offencive players, this string loses tension when used offencively and also snaps easy.

This is the best string from Yonex, CyberNatural included. The only weakness is its durabilty. Like other reviewer said, the net control is excellent.

Very good net control |

I've tried this string with many rackets. Some pros to this racket is that it helps you have very good drops and net control. It also has a nice sound once you hit the sweet spot. Cons are that they don't last that long and lose tension pretty quickly. If you want a string that is more durable, BG-80 would be better for you but won't be as strong as the BG-85.
