After testing the Power Gut 65 string for several weeks, we found the string to offer excellent power. Ashaway's proprietary Power Filament Technology (PFT) on the string seems to work. However, we do notice a very fast tension loss similar to the Yonex BG-65 and BG-85. Likewise, the string feel is still stiff, not as soft as the BG-65 or BG-85. However, this does not bother us too much since the string last much longer than the Yonex BG-65 and BG-85, and it provides more power. If you want more power and durability, this string is for you.
